Medicinal cannabis has been accepted by the TGA for a variety of mental and physical health conditions, alleviating symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, depression, addiction, chronic pain, and many more, with far fewer side effects than many other prescription drugs.
We take a credit card payment the day before the appointment. A receipt can be issued to support claims with private insurance or the Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA). However, please note that there is no Medicare rebate available for this telehealth consultation, as it is privately conducted.

Frequently Asked Questions
Absolutely! Marijuana is currently only legal for medicinal purposes in Australia, so anyone prescribing it must be a licensed medical practitioner registered under the Government’s regulatory framework.
The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), which is Australia's regulatory authority for therapeutic goods, has established guidelines and processes for medical practitioners to follow when prescribing medical cannabis.
Our medical marijuana doctors work with patients who have conditions that may respond to medical cannabis treatment, such as chronic pain, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, and chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting, among others. They can assess patients' medical histories, conduct examinations, and determine whether medical cannabis is a suitable treatment option for their specific condition.
Currently, the cost of medical marijuana is not tax deductible in Australia. Medical cannabis isn't an approved medication in Australia, meaning it's not on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG). Basically, there's not enough clinical research to meet the eligibility requirements for listing.
Medicare generally doesn’t cover the cost of medical cannabis consultations, because most telehealth cannabis services don't bulk bill. Additionally, medical cannabis isn’t covered by Medicare as it isn’t an approved medication in Australia according to the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA).
The expense of medicinal cannabis products can range from as little as $50 to as much as $1000 per patient per week. This variance in price can be attributed to the underlying condition being treated, the particular product needed, and the prescribed dose. Unfortunately, medicinal cannabis products are not currently subsidised by the Commonwealth Government. As a result, the full cost of the product needs to be paid by the patient.
We specialise in consultations and provide prescriptions for medicinal marijuana products. However, we do not sell medicinal cannabis treatments directly. Through our services, eligible patients are able to access medicinal cannabis for medical condition treatment.
